From the Portola road parking lot, we took Hamm’s Gulch trail up to the Lost trail then down the Spring Ridge trail for a total loop of about 7.4 [mi] (I was surprised by this number when I added up the segments - it didn’t feel that long).
On a clear day, you can see both the Pacific and the entire bay from the top. The view along with the preserve’s proximity to home makes Windy Hill a great place for a quick hike with a view.
